Hi, hi, hi !
Finally Wiwi Hope is here to re-blogging back with you guys. My times has been pretty occupied along this holiday which meant to be 6 weeks, and I'm pretty excited that I was able to recollect all those experience I had while holiday'ing before I went back to uni-life. So, here I am to share with you about 'How I spend my first uni-break?' and guess it all about experience, maybe. Some experiences that I thought, was very valuable for me and of course, I will commemorate it for the rest of my life.
Last year, the beginning of my campus life was no joke. I had a blast day full of assignments, quick-task, exam and classes, which make me busier week by week. I'm getting occupied with many of those campus' activities (which was fun and exhausting at the same time) without me realizing that the time flies so fast. When the final exam was then pass by my schedule, starting from 9th January 2016, I'm finally on break ! Yay ! There, I had one week to spend in my village before going back to UMS on 18th January. I've never expected that starting from the day I went back to UMS, I can be as amused as ever with those new acquaintances. :)
Wonder why I went back to UMS, right ? :)
Well, we had a training for SUKIPT (Sukan Institusi Pengajian Tinggi), and thank God, I had a chance to spare a moment with one of my favourite games - Lawn Bowl. Some might thought about how do we (Elzye and I) had this chance since we were none of that outstanding player meant for this game. Hm, well, thanks to our past participation in Sabah Games and to the one who still remember our names and yeah, long story to be told (cut this out, hehe). Frankly spoken, I am sure that it will be awkward to be teamed up with unfamiliar people. Since I never meet the other two (there are five of us) and only met Fatin once or twice, the unpleasant feeling overhelmed me for a few days. So, this is us ! This photo was taken on 22nd January, in which we were wearing the official suit for UMS athletes.
With all those unpleasant feeling around me at that time, I can't really cuddle around them as comfortable as I always would be. Until finally the time has awaken me into some other consciousness which is they were as sweet as a sisters. When I think about all those time now, it was a waste that I don't want to be that little closer to them at the earlier point. In fact, I have missed some comfortable days with them because it was me that was not able to adapt easily. Hm, here is another pictures to look back as a memories. Hehe, I'm so sorry that I look that messy at that time (hair-discorporate problem). In front of us was our coach, Mr Pyan. So, introducing you my teammates from the left side, Fatin Aqilah Amran, Nur Farhana Rujiman, Nur Atiqah Hassan, (meeeee), & Elzye Veceny Henry. #Kena belanja oleh coach lepas training...kikikik
A training mode- Back then, we haven't got into our training as obedient as we should. Because the transportation problem and weather-whacked. Hmm...After all, we were a high-spirited team. Sanggup menunggu juga transport dibekal supaya dapat latihan. Congratulation, team ! That was a bitter but meaningful moment for us. Hahaha
Naahhh, Johor here we are !
Recalling about this 'fresh' memories, will get me onto melancholic feeling each and every time. I did not expect that this kind of experience will change 'the inside me'. When I look back these pictures, I hope that we (the teammates) will forever be a teammates. I can say that they are the best that I had. Have you ever heard about this saying, "Its not always someone you know long before that you will miss very much, it can be someone whom you have just met". Well, the three of them were the person I've just met, but I already missed. They have that charm that made people they've encountered, to longed for them when they're not around us. By the way, I know that I will meet Fatin and Nana (Farhana) when the upcoming semester start. But, Atik (Atiqah), she went to Melaka to pursue a work for SPA. I will miss her very much, because even now I am. Hope to see her very soon, pembuli nombor satu saya (T.T). I will miss their jokes and all the laughters I had with them. They will always be my most inspiring person who teach me about passion. A passion towards everything you do in your life, most of all, a passion for this game - Lawn Bowl. ("sob, sob"...)
After all, we were grateful for the support and deeds you did for us two (Elzye and I). Without all of you (Fatin Atiq and Nana), we'll never manage to stand between the outstanding athletes of UMS, and never made it to SUKIPT. Eventhough we did not acquired any medals for this SUKIPT (which I regret so much, because I'm not doing very well), but I'm glad we have the memories to be cherished, and experience to uproar our mentality next time. :) Oh, congratulation to UMS Squad for retrieving six gold in SUKIPT and placed sixth of the best. Proud of you all, keep playing like a champion ! :)
Best regards,
Wiwi Hope <3
